Successful ACW Presentation

St George’s church ladies, and Felix and Frederic from Sunday School recently enjoyed a presentation by Lynette Jenkins from SCAW on March 19. Lynette has been a longtime volunteer with this charity and has travelled at her own expense to countries worldwide distributing bed kits to children in need. The unique fact about this charity is that all money donated to SCAW goes towards the cost of the bed kits; all other costs are donated funds.

St George’s has been involved with SCAW since early 2000. Our youth were quite interested in this presentation as they had worked very hard to raise money to send to SCAW during our recent Advent & Christmas youth outreach project.
