Together for Nature

The Nith Valley EcoBoosters are helping to promote the Together For Nature Tour which is being organized by Ontario Nature and Legal Advocates for Nature's Defence and is taking place across Ontario in September.

The Together For Nature Tour creates space to hear directly from Indigenous land protectors and youth leaders about what is happening in their homelands, why it matters and how communities across Ontario can work together to support nature, Indigenous rights and a healthier future for all.

The organizers are inviting people to hear from Okiniwak, Here We Stand, and the Friends of the Attawapiskat River to amplify the voices of Indigenous youth and land protectors from Northern Ontario. In addition, Inuk singer-songwriter Susan Aglukark will be performing.

The Kitchener tour event is taking place on Thursday, September 17th at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 54 Benton Street, Kitchener from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
